Why graphic novels are more than picture perfect Four leading political cartoonists reveal what inspires them. Nice composition - why do I like it? the ornamental stuff at the bottom seems to make it work. Not sure about the use of a photo, I wouldn’t do that personally though why not. The copyright stuff is probably an attempt to seem anti corporate, where it’s actually just a decorative thing. I also [...] Physical 3D landscape terrain models generated by datasets relating to the frequency & position of urban crimes. the precise statistics are provided by the police. each individual incident adds to the height of the model, forming a mountainous terrain. the resulting “Mountain Fear” objects do not describe an ideal other-worldly space separated from lived reality, [...] Visited the Science Museum today and just by chance saw an called “Listening Post” - by Mark Hansen and Ben Rubin. Some nice generated GD pictures here. The “output-gallery contains datascapes generated by users from input-gallery and a set of filters, using for example Apache log files or texts from mails currently circulating on the network”.
