The Picture of Dorian Blair

Digital/ networked project

Link to Project

Tony Blair has done a deal with the devil. His portrait is locked in the attic. Each day a news story appears on the website.

Based on his behaviour within the news story, the public vote on his actions, and his portrait changes accordingly.

This could be described as a “database narrative”. Voting affects the portrait, and different drawings are pulled from a database according to number of votes.

This was a project initiated while studying MA Networked Media Environments at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design.
